Error codes list for Whirlpool Oven
Code Error Solution
F1, F5, F7, F8
Control board and keypad failure
Begin by disconnecting the power supply to the unit. While the oven is turned off, carefully inspect and securely reattach the connections to all electronic components. Then, restore the power and press the Cancel button. If the code reappears after 60 seconds, it indicates a faulty keypad, and you should consider replacing it. However, if the problem persists, replace the main control board.
F3, F4, F3-E1, F3-E2, F3-E3
Temperature sensor problems
Thoroughly examine the temperature sensor and its wire harness to ensure that all connections are tight and undamaged. If any part of the sensor or wire harness is visibly damaged, it should be replaced. If there are no visible signs of damage, test the resistance of the sensor. The reading should be approximately 1080 ohms. If the results differ, the sensor is defective and needs to be replaced. If the resistance reading is within the expected range and all other connections are secure, replace the main control board to address the issue.
F9, F5-E0
Overheating
Inspect all connections between the sensor, control board, and wire harnesses. Ensure that all connections are secure and properly attached. If there are no visible signs of damage and the connections are secure, the next step is to replace either the control board or the sensor, depending on which component is causing the overheating problem.
F2, F3-E2, F3-E3
Broken door lock
Start by checking the door switch using the oven’s interior light. Open and close the door to check if the light turns on when the door is open. If the light does not come on when the door is open, it indicates a faulty door switch that requires replacement. Next, disconnect the power supply and carefully inspect all connections between the door lock assembly and its wire harness. Ensure that all wires are securely connected, and there are no signs of physical damage. If the connections are secure and undamaged, replace the door lock assembly.
